Royalty

Any book tagged with this topic focuses on royal figures or royal institutions to a large extent. Royalty consists of the members of any monarchical (often hereditary but sometimes electoral) governmental system, including Kings, Tsars, Emperors, etc., and their families. In the last 200 years most royalty has been relatively powerless and has a principal role of the nation's figurehead, although the royalty of the previous millenium had more absolute power.
