Hannah Pakula

Hannah Pakula is an American biographer who writes primarily about women from the 19th and 20th centuries. She was raised in Beverly Hills but moved to New York with her previous husband, the film director Alan Pakula. Her biographies emerged out of her own passion for the historic women she writes about, and are always full of empathy and understanding for her subjects.
